Start with the destination
Record the destination country, importer, product category, format, intended route and relevant date. Requirements can differ by market and may change, so do not reuse a document list without checking.
Map the document set
Identify the selected product specification, ingredients and allergens, label version, certificates or statements, commercial documents, shipment records and any authority or importer requirements that apply.
Check scope and consistency
Compare product identity, quantities, names, addresses, label copy and document dates across the evidence set. A certificate or UK document does not automatically satisfy a destination country’s requirements.
Assign responsibilities and escalation
Record who obtains, checks, signs, translates or submits each document and who handles a discrepancy. Specialist Supplements Ltd — trading since 1995 — recommends destination-specific professional advice before export decisions. Reviewed 28 October 2026.
| Review area | Record | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Exact product, version or route | Not every product or market |
| Evidence | Issuer, date, scope and linked reference | Not blanket approval |
| Decision | Reviewer, owner, date and next action | Not legal or technical advice |
