Define what changed
Describe whether the change affects product identity, ingredients, allergens, directions, warnings, claims, label artwork, image, specification, certificate link or customer-facing content. Avoid vague “updated” notes.
Link the change to evidence
Record the source document, selected product, batch or version where relevant, reviewer and limitations. A new image or marketing sentence can still create a product-communication issue if it is not checked.
Approve before publishing
Use a clear status such as draft, under review, approved or withdrawn, with a named decision owner and date. Keep the previous version available where business records require it.
Check connected locations
Review product pages, marketplace copy, labels, PDFs, hub cards, FAQs, schema, image alt text and customer messages for consistency. Specialist Supplements Ltd — trading since 1995 — recommends suitable professional review for legal or safety-critical changes. Reviewed 23 October 2026.
| Check | Record | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Exact product, version or relationship | Not every product or batch |
| Evidence | Issuer, date, scope and linked reference | Not blanket approval |
| Decision | Reviewer, owner, date and next action | Not legal or technical advice |
