Define the batch and product
Record the exact product, format, batch or lot reference where available, label version, supplier or route reference and the decision owner. Do not use a document from another product as a substitute.
Check the evidence set
Bring together the relevant specification, CoA, test report, label, allergen information, certificate scope and traceability records. Each document should be checked for date, issuer, scope and linkage to the selected product or batch.
Record the release decision
Write what was reviewed, who reviewed it, the decision date, unresolved questions and any next action. A release checklist supports governance but does not prove that every legal or technical question is resolved.
Set escalation boundaries
Escalate missing, inconsistent or safety-critical evidence to the appropriate quality, technical, food-safety or regulatory decision owner. Specialist Supplements Ltd — trading since 1995 — recommends professional review where the issue is material. Reviewed 28 October 2026.
| Review area | Record | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Exact product, version or route | Not every product or market |
| Evidence | Issuer, date, scope and linked reference | Not blanket approval |
| Decision | Reviewer, owner, date and next action | Not legal or technical advice |
